1. To recognise, through concrete examples, not only the international but also the transnational scope of the literary phenomenon.
2. To motivate students towards a relational and inter and transdisciplinary approach of literature;
3. To introduce concepts and methods applicable to the scientific field traditionnaly known as comparative literature.
4. To contribute to the articulation of knowledge acquired in other literary courses, or in other fields like History, Art History, Philosophy, International relations...)
- Basic knowledge in historical and methodological terms on the academic field of Comparative Literature;
- Practice of comparative analysis using different corpora;
- Development of interpretation skills and critical thinking about different approaches of literature, culture and arts, in general.

Other literature references will be indicated to the students throughout the semester. At the beginning of classes, books and their film adaptations will also be indicated for analysis

The evaluation will consider:
