Calculation formula of final grade

The evaluation of this subject is distributed without a final exam and consists of the following components:

  • Assessment of written competence: written expression work (30%) + written test (70%).

  • Assessment of oral competence: oral expression work (30%) + oral test (70%).

The calculation of the final grade will be the average achieved by dividing the marks obtained in each of the components: oral and written.

However, it is mandatory to pass a minimum grade (8.5 points) in each of the components (oral and written) in order to take the average and pass the course.

Since there is no final exam, students who fail in the first call (equivalent to the "época normal"), may take a recovery test (of the written part and/or the oral part) in the second call (coinciding with the "época de recurso").

- If a student has failed the subject in "Época normal", they can make up both written test No. 3 and oral test No. 4 in "Época de recurso".
- In no case is there an option to recover the marks obtained in assessment tests 1 and 2.
