Objectives
To study 19th century Portuguese literature, focusing main Romantic, Realistic and Naturalistic authors.
Learning outcomes and competences
At the end of the semester, the student must understand the concepts underlying literary currents and must be able to grasp the novelty arising from Romanticism and the importance of the 20th century for the avant-garde of the 20th century.
