Objectives

Introduction to Brazilian literature (and the Portuguese language of Brazil and Brazilian culture) through the panoramic study of representative texts and authors. 

Learning outcomes and competences

It is expected that at the end of the course, students are able to know and discuss the Brazilian literary system, relating it with other systems and movements. At the same time, it is expected that students have notions of literary history and poetic and are able to produce a critical discourse based on the points of the program.
