Objectives

This course aims to stimulate critical and analytical ability of students through knowledge of various models of journalism, identifying and putting into practice the methodologies of comparative media research. Accordingly, it is intended to provide tools  to identify different models of journalism, compare them and reflect on the changing role of media in society.

Upon the approach of several case studies and multiple methods of analysis, it is intended that students are able to identify and critically examine some of the most pressing topics and concepts related to news coverage..
