Objectives

This curricular unit aims to give the students opportunity to:

- use the acquired knowledge and developed competences/skills to real situations and deepening the integration of interdisciplinary knowledge;

- know and contact with developed projects, or in progress, in the field of information science;

- develop skills in project management solving real problems.;
- develop research skills.

Learning outcomes and competences

At the end of the curricular unit the students must be able to solve real problems of information management indiverse organizational contexts and to know how to manage particular projects in the IS area, or be able to develop a research work.

  1. Project management techniques and tools to support their development OR support to the development of research work.

  2. Development of a project in the area of Information Science - Based on the contacts established with external public or private organizations, issues will be identified in order to to be approached in different projects OR development of a research work under the supervision of a professor.

  3. Project Report OR research work writing.
