Reading and interpreting: comics on social criticism. Articles on current affairs topics. Texts in tourism.

Speaking: conversations on everyday topics and current affairs analysis.
Theoretical-practical lessons.The module is eminently practical, going into the formal structures of the language and its communicative functions. Many lectures are delivered in the form of listening and speaking activities, in order to reproduce similar contexts to real situations in Spain.

The maximum grade which can be obtained in the written exam is 14 points. Student must obtain at least 6/14 points in the written exam in order to be admitted to the oral exam. The maximum grade which can be obtained in the oral exam is also 14 points. The remaining 6 points correspond to the mandatory assignments of the subject that be stated at the beggining of the semester.
Class work - 30% (6 points)
written and oral exam - 70% (14 points)
Student must obtain at least 6/14 points in the written exam in order to be admitted to the oral exam. The final grade will be obtained as follows:
Teachers will calculate the average from both written and oral exams, if the grade obtained by the student in oral exam is at least 6/14 points. In this case, the average obtained from both written and oral exams will be added to the grade obtained in the assignments, thus obtaining the final grade.
All information needed to complete this class will be handed in throughout the first class sessions and will be available online.
Student who obtain more than 6/14 points in the written exam must do oral exam.There is an oral exam based on the compulsory reading. Titles will be announce at the beginning of the semester.
