Objectives
The students admitted at this level already have a vast linguistic repertoire, hence the purpose is to consolidate the knowledge of the language and the culture of the Spanish speaking countries, considering its diversity and deepening themes of social actuality.
To approve in this level the student must attain the following objectives:
− Understanding: Understand long and complex texts or specialised articles.
− Speaking and Writing: Communicate without effort and in a spontaneous way. When writing, the student must be able to choose a proper style according to the text purpose.
− Interaction: The student must be able to relate his participations with other speakers.
− Coherence: Produce clear, well-structured texts about complex subjects, showing an adequate use of organisations, articulation and cohesion devices.
In short, all this will allow students, by the end of the course, to reach the goals defined by Level C1 (Effective Operational Proficiency) established by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Learning conversational strategies
Differences of verbs in the past. Choosing the time of verbs in the past in difficult contexts
Usages of the Subjunctive to comment and to value information.
Expanding resources to present information.
Discursive markers> organizing, reformulating and recapitulating...
Expanding resources to connect ideas.
Argumentative texts, reports and debates
Developing an understanding strategy that enables the students to watch Spanish television programs.
Newspaper language. Normal vocabulary in each newspaper section.
Learning how to interpreter and choose an adequate prepositions.
Developing the quality and capacities for writing academic texts.
