Patrícia Romeiro (PhD) has a solid academic and practice (consultancy and project management) background in Geography and in Innovation and Development Strategies.
She is particularly interested in addressing four major issues: # What (economic and social) changes are occurring in cities and regions? # What policies, strategies and actions are being developed by public, private and NGO actors? # Have the agents the ability to coordinate individual actions and to mobilize around collective strategies? # What territorial impacts are being produced by certain policies, strategies and actions and how can these be improved?
She started her career as a researcher in Spain (CSIC) and she is currently linked to CEGOT - University of Porto (Portugal). During this period she was Visiting Researcher at EURICUR - University of Rotterdam and at Business School - University of Birmingham. In the last few years she has been involved in projects related to the Creative Industries in the Northern Portugal (Knowledge and Creative Economy, Creative Activities and Urban Regeneration, Design and Industrial Revitalization, Video Games Industry).
