I earned my PhD in medieval Literature in 2017 with a thesis focusing on the representation of Alfonso VI of León and Castile in the eleventh and twelfth centuries' historiography and charters. I am currently a Junior researcher at the Philosophy Institute, where I conduct my research on the political power of women in medieval Iberian historiography and translation in medieval iberian context and digital edition of medieval texts. I am also interested in the representation and reception of the Middle Ages in modern and contemporary art and literature. My teaching subjects include Literature and Memory in the Portuguese Middle Ages (2021-2024), Codicology (since 2020) and Medieval Castilian Literature (2024-2025).
