Objectives
This subject is designed for students to:
- understand the meaning and significance of pedagogical action from the perspective of Philosophy;
- integrate pre-existing scientific information in the framework of the demands of teaching Philosophy;
- critically analyse the status and role of teaching Philosophy in the curricular context;
- analyze the structure, aims and contents of the programmes, whichever they may be;
- reflect on the specificity of the didactics of Philosophy.

1. Introduction and contextualisation:
1.1. Didactics, education, pedagogy; the teaching/learning dialectics;
1.2. Fundamental elements in the pedagogical relationship.
2. The didactics of Philosophy and its specificity.
2.1. Philosophy Programmes:
2.1.1. Brief historical reference to their evolution in the context of the education system;
2.1.2. Structural and critical analysis of the most recent programmes;
2.1.3. The role of teaching Philosophy within the curricular context.
2.2. The didactics of Philosophy as a philosophical issue.
2.3. Philosophical and pedagogical fundaments of a didactics of Philosophy.
2.4. Teaching Philosophy: training and information.
