Objectives
This seminar will focus on the tendencies and/or trends of contemporary Portuguese ethical-political thought, in order to provide a systematic vision of the philosophy of each selected author, bearing in mind the historical and cultural context of each.
By establishing a link with the foreign schools of thought of philosophy, an essential objective of this seminar is also to emphasize the unity and diversity of ethical-political reflection in Portugal during the 20th century.
Students should attain a high level of autonomous critical thought.
Learning outcomes and competences
This degree implies a consolidated scientific training and good practice research techniques. The link between the program and objectives, seek to deepen these techniques and skills, aimed at consolidating this training, seeking to stimulate an autonomous research route and grounded.
