Objectives
General objective:Following on from PA I and considering that the logos of Philosophical Anthropology can only be understood close to human conditions , the objective of this subject will be to reflect philosophically upon some of the great contemporary anthropological questions. Specific objectives: -To develop a critical vision of the human condition -To understand the human being and the new challenges of the contemporary world. -To provide for the acquisition of reflexive competencies in the domain of anthropological issues -To promote research on the themes, problems and authors discussed.
Learning outcomes and competences
With this uc, students acquire reflective skills that promote continuity of identification and analysis of anthropological issues in the contemporary world, as well as skills for more independent research within the philosophy.

1. Critical approach to a contemporary consciousness;
1.1. Spatiality, and temporality;
1.2. Contemporaneity as hermeneutics of present, as hospitality and as reception;
2. Utopia: ime and space
2.1. Anthropological meaning of utopia: utopia and hope;
2.2. Challenge of anthropology to ontology and theory of knowledge in the critical space of eschatology and futurology. The contributions of E. Bloch;
2.3. Utopia: historical time, over-historical time and stratigraphic time;
2.4. Revaluation of anthropological dimension of utopia. (P. Ricoeur);
3. Contemporaneity and Urbanity;
3.1. Human condition and urban condition;
3.2. To Dwell (Heidegger), way(s) of comtemporary being; 3.3.Complex construction of singular and collective identity.
4.The human; technology and biotechnology.

Teaching methods and learning activities
Theory-practical classes and research assignments supervised by the lecturer. Based on the principle of didactic variability, these classes will mobilise the pedagogical virtues of lectures, group work and strategies typical of research, particularly in terms of exploring philosophical texts and literature research.
