Objectives

This course has as its main objective to disseminate knowledge on Innovation and Innovation Management. This will enable students to start research in the area, and secondly, provide them with the basic tools to analyze the processes of creation and innovation and its implications for management, exploring the ways in which innovation can be fostered in organizations. Students will develop skills to analyze the processes of creation and innovation and its implications for management and to explore ways through which innovation can be fostered in organizations.

2. Develop and formulate managerial strategies to shape innovative performance

3. Utilise tools of innovation management to map and measure innovative activities

4. Diagnose different innovation challenges and make recommendations for resolving them

Teaching methods and learning activities

The teaching will have a theoretical-practical nature with a cases and students’ participation in class. In class assessment focuses on the expositive part of the class and involves 10 quiz tests (5 for each part) of 10m duration. The written tests focus on the applied case studies.
