Program

This course unit aims to provide the theoretical basis to carry out a comprehensive analysis in the hygrothermal behaviour of constructions. The program covers the following themes: Heat transfer, Moisture transfer; Psychometry; Hygrothermal properties; Thermal and hygrothermal models to assess a component behaviour; HAM-models - Heat, air and moisture transfer analysis; Climatology

DEMONSTRATION OF THE SYLLABUS COHERENCE WITH THE CURRICULAR UNIT'S OBJECTIVES:

Application of advanced software for studies of hygrothermal behaviour of building components and whole buildings.

Mandatory literature
