Effect of wind on tall buildings; Effect of earthquakes on tall buildings; Lateral resistant systems for steel and concrete buildings; Gravity resistant systems for steel and concrete buildings; Dimensioning specificities of constituent elements; Special topics on vibration control.

The syllabus enables the achievement of the objectives, namely allowing to understand the main topics related with tall buildings and its application to real civil engineering problems
