DEMONSTRATION OF THE SYLLABUS COHERENCE WITH THE CURRICULAR UNIT'S OBJECTIVES:

To understand the possible benefits and limitations of current information and communication technologies in construction, addressing the innovation processes in construction due to modernization created by information technology and communication.

DEMONSTRATION OF THE COHERENCE BETWEEN THE TEACHING METHODOLOGIES AND THE LEARNING OUTCOMES:

Relate the potential of information and communication technologies in specific cases in different stages of construction (concept, design, tendering, execution, reception, maintenance, rehabilitation); discover opportunities for using information and communication technologies to improve productivity in construction; investigate, using the individual project, how to use information technology and communication in a specific application in the construction, to compare the situation before and after using the information and communication technologies in some phases of construction, use the discussions made in class about work and on the individual project to build models using the information and communication technologies in construction; manage the resources of information and communication technologies available in the various construction processes to achieve advantageous results.
