Details
Summary: DEZMPP project is conceived by a consortium that joins ZEUGMA, SIEMENS and FEUP, aiming to develop an advanced digital production solution that enables automatic manufacturing platforms, dedicated to the assembly and testing of components, with a manufacturing of high added value focused on to the factories of the future. The proposed solution is a response to the challenges of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution, based on themes of efficiency, sustainability and rational management of resources in an integrated, flexible and versatile way and perspective of the equipment?s life cycle. The need to create value applicable to the industry led this consortium to design a solution that allows to simulate and validate virtually the structural, functional and sustainability performance of manufacturing processes and equipment to be developed by ZEUGMA before its physical execution and implementation in a productive line. It is intended to combine advanced technological concepts so that the solution provided has a learning and predictive capacity for greater value. In addition to adding value to its design processes and ZEUGMA's activity, the integration of different information systems and advances allows to add greater value to the market, through an integrated offer and competitive advantage to potential customers. The proposed solution will developed, at an experimental level, innovative tools, analysis, evaluation and simulation modules, procedures and routines, integrating them with existing information systems and productive lines of potential industrial clients, which will be tested in pilot scenario. It is expected that the final product and skills created will
constitute a new area of business, thus extending the value chain of the company. DEZMPP will also contribute to improve the position of Portuguese companies in a market with sustained growth at the global level, which is of extreme importance for the world economy:the automotive components manufacturing indu Ver mais.
