Position:Civil Engineer at Construction Materials Laboratory located in the Department of Civil and Georesources Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP).

 Education:Course of Quality Control by CICCOPN (2002); Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering by ISEP (2006); Degree in Civil Engineering by ISEP (2008); Master in Sustainable Built Environment by the University of Minho - UM (2015).

 Main interests/skills:Geometric, physical and mechanical tests on construction materials; Non-destructive tests on concrete structures; Durability tests on concrete; Tests on recycled aggregates to assess the possibility of use for different purposes; Continuous improvement of the quality of the tests through the implementation of quality management procedures, including the cyclic normative update and the constant review of the documents associated with each test.

 Main activities:Planning and conducting laboratory tests within the scope of teaching curricular units, R&D projects, doctoral and post-doctoral work; Management of equipment used in teaching, research, extension and communication activities, namely in the acquisition and operation and in the monitoring of calibrations, maintenance, repairs and inventory of them; Organization and management of files (standards, procedures, tests and calibrations).
