PRESENTATION

EBEC stands for European BEST Engineering Competition (now often referred to as Empowered BEST Engineering Competition), an annual Engineering competition organized by BEST (Board of European Students of Technology).

At FEUP (Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto), EBEC is held as the local round called EBEC Porto or EBEC Challenge Porto, in partnership with FCUP (Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto). This event has been running for over a decade and attracts hundreds of participants from both faculties.

Target Audience
Students from courses at the Faculty of Engineering of UP and the Faculty of Sciences of UP.
The application process takes place via the page: EBEC Registration - 24h

Schedule and Timetable: TBD - only 2nd Semester

Credits: 1.5 ECTS

Duration: 40.5h (11h contact hours)

Operating Mode: in-person

NOTE: the course will only take place with a minimum number of students.
