Objectives

To transmit the basic concepts on heat transfer and introducing the mechanisms of molecular (conduction and convection) and radiation heat transfer.
A short reference to heat transfer with change phase and a general overview of heat exchangers is to be presented.

Program

Heat Conduction: Fourier's Law, Monodimmensional Conduction, Fins; Convection: Energy Equation, Internal and External Flows, Free Convection;Phase Change Heat Transfer: Condensation, Boiling; Heat Exchangers.
