Personal Presentation
Received his PhD from the University of Porto in 2015, with a thesis dedicated to the study of power losses in gears and rolling bearings. Since then, his research has focused on tribology applied to machine elements.
He teaches the Machine Elements courses in the Bachelor’s and Master’s programs in Mechanical Engineering at FEUP.
Since 2022, he has been serving as Director of the Research Unit on Tribology, Vibrations, and Industrial Maintenance (CETRIB) at INEGI.
