This course aims to improve students' understanding of human behavior in organizations and the ability to lead people to achieve more effectively increased organizational performance. After completing this course, students should be able to:
- To understand organizational behavior as a heterogeneous domain, with a great diversity of themes and approaches, in which different areas of knowledge come together;
- To think critically about the modes of thinking and organizing, and how these translate into different ways of approaching management;
- To critically assess how management has attempted to regulate the behavior of individuals and groups in the daily life of organizations;
- To confront mainstream and critical approaches regarding behavioral themes.
- A procedural understanding of the organization and its implications for the analysis of the behaviors of people in organizations;
- A critical understanding of how the behaviors of managers and managers are shaped by power relations;
- A critical understanding of the production of knowledge in organizational behavior.
- Understand individual behavior in organizations, including diversity, attitudes, job satisfaction, emotions, moods, personality, values, perception, decision-making, and motivational theories.
- Understand group behavior in organizations, including communication, leadership, power and politics, conflict, and negotiations.
- Understand the organizational system, including organizational structures, culture, human resources, and change.

The course enhances learning through lectures, discussions, articles, cases, and movies. Students are expected to participate in group discussions, assignments, presentations, and individual tests to demonstrate their understanding of the OB course.
