Recipients

To apply for registration and enrolment in the first cycle of studies international students must:

1. Hold a qualification that grants access to higher education, understood as any diploma or certificate issued by a competent authority attesting to the student's completion of an educational programme that confers them the right to apply and enrol in higher education in the country of origin.
2. Hold a Portuguese secondary education diploma or legal equivalent.

* Notes:
International students are those who meet the conditions in article 3 of Decree-Law no. 62/2018 of 06/08 and in article 1 of the Regulations for the application of the U.Porto International Student Statute (Regulation nº 664/2018 of 16/10). Candidates who do not meet the conditions in the legislation previously mentioned, cannot apply for the international student statute.
