Abstract (EN):
The features of an integrated chemical reaction engineering (CRE) lab experiments that allow students to understand the sequential procedure for characterizing a chemical reaction system are discussed. The experiments were performed in an individual three-hour lab session. In the first session, students determined the kinetic parameters of a second-order reaction at different temperatures, using a batch reactors. In the second session, students characterize the residence time distribution (RTD) for a continous-flow reactor. In the third session, the evaluation of the reactor's performance is performed.
