I started to work at the University of Porto in 2007 as an R&D funding manager, at U.Porto Inovação (KTO). Between 2013 and 2016, I was in charge of the International Projects team at the Project Management Office/Shared Services of the U.Porto. Since 2017, I have been in charge of the Research and Projects Office at the Rectorate of the U.Porto.
I am developing my doctoral thesis in Political Economy (PhD Governance, Knowledge and Innovation). I have a master's degree in Innovation Economics and Management and a degree in Modern Languages and Literature, English and German Studies - Translation.
Areas of interest: public science, technology and innovation policies, research and innovation funding systems, smart specialisation strategies, and governance processes.
