Apresentação Pessoal

Degree in Political Science and International Relations (2002) from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, with a one-semester stay in The Hague, Netherlands, under the Erasmus programme. Master's degree in Sociology (2023) from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Porto, in the field of active ageing and the transition to retirement. As a result, he published an article in a scientific journal in January 2025. In 2024, she joined the Doctoral Programme in Labour Relations and Human Resources at the University of Santiago de Compostela to develop the topic she studied in her Master's degree, with a focus on age management in organisations. She is currently a researcher and collaborator at the Institute of Sociology at the University of Porto.

She began her professional experience and event organisation skills at the International Relations Office of the University of Porto (2003) with the organisation of an exhibition on the experiences of University of Porto students at foreign universities through the Erasmus programme.

She has worked at U.Porto Inovação (University of Porto's Patent Management and Technology Transfer Office) since its creation in 2004, managing R&D funding (preparation and submission of national and European funding proposals) and technology commercialisation. Until 2012, its main tasks were to promote and support the participation of U.Porto's research groups in national and international funding programmes, and later to focus more on technology management.

Specifically, in technology management, I have been responsible for supporting the assessment of the market potential of technologies, and in terms of projects, my experience covers the implementation and management of various European projects, namely science communication projects such as Researchers' Night (7th Framework Programme - 4 editions), projects to promote entrepreneurship, such as the Erasmus project for young entrepreneurs (CIP - Competitiveness and Innovation Programme), and projects to transfer technology and knowledge and exchange best practices, such as the Nanovalor project (POCTEP - Operational Programme for Cross-border Cooperation between Spain and Portugal), among others. In addition to these activities, she has collaborated in the organisation of events related to entrepreneurship (workshops and awards) and university-business relations (A2B meetings).

In 2017, she started working in the area of employability at the Rectorate of the University of Porto, where she developed activities related to the organisation of events to promote employment (interaction actions with employers, namely company presentations and the organisation of the Job Fair - 4 editions) and skills development (personal development actions for students). It also continued to manage projects to finance activities related to employability (3 national projects - POCTEP and PRR).

With the integration of the Alumni area (2023), the activities were more related to the development of the Employment Observatory, which includes activities to promote knowledge of the labour market and the corresponding actions to disseminate this knowledge, by carrying out studies, conducting surveys among graduates, preparing reports and disseminating the results.
