Undertake a project in the field of Molecular Bioengineering in which one should addressed the phases of design, development and implementation of a product or service.
Development of skills required for the design and development of a product/service of molecular bioengineering.
Developent of the skills required for the development of a product/service in the field of molecular bioengineering.
The project will be undertaken in the framework of subsequent tasks in an iterative process that includes:
i) Concept analysis and socio-economic impacts;
ii) Requirements of the product or service to be developed;
iii) Design of the product or service;
iv) Description of the different stages of project implementation;
v) Cost analysis.
The project will be accompanied by a mentor.
Students will be divide into groups of 5 to 6 persons, who will work as a team for the preparation of the final document of the project. Each project stage should be discussed with the mentor/supervisor of the team.

Each team will present 2 partial progress reports. At the end of the semester each team will deliver a final report and make a presentation of the project. Each of the progress reports will have a weight of 5% on the final note (these will be evaluated by the person in charge of the curricular unit). The final report and the oral presentation will be subject to evaluation by a jury consisting of the mentor of the project, an expert and the coordinator of the UC, and ratings with the weights of 70% and 30%, respectively, in the final grade.
Peer evaluation will be conducted that will also be reflected in the final report grade.
