Mission:	The Anatomy Department has the mission of teaching all the subjects of Anatomy for the Integrated Masters in Medicine and Veterinary Medicine and also of Human Anatomy and Physiology for the Integrated Masters in Bioengineering. To complement the teaching, there is an Anatomical Museum with anatomical models and human and animal parts kept in transparent flasks. This Museum is accessible for visits by groups of high school and university students, as long as an appointment is made in advance so that the Museum is not used during ICBAS classes. This Department has an open-door policy, i.e. students are invited to use the Museum and the Practical Classrooms, from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 7 pm, for their personal study. This study may be accompanied by human or animal anatomical pieces, which may be requested from the Department's staff.
Schedule:	For the General Public: Monday to Friday (working days). 09h00 to 12h00 and from 14h00 to 15h00 (last entry).
