The Laboratory of Cytogenetics performs tests for Diagnosis of Chromosomal Instability (DIC) DIC started as a community support service in 2004. This service is intended to diagnose diseases of chromosomal instability, particularly Fanconi anemia (FA). This Laboratory is referred in the ORPHANET , the portal for rare diseases and orphan drugs. DIC also develops research projects related with chromosomal instability in general and FA in particular, investing in post-graduate training, participation in conferences and scientific meetings.
