| Mission: | The mission of the Quality Management and Accreditation Office is to manage quality and advise on the creation and accreditation of FMUP's training offer, promoting its continuous improvement, in conjunction with FMUP's Management Boards, Directors of Cycles of Studies and Continuing Education Courses, the Rectory of the University of Porto (U.Porto), the Higher Education Assessment and Accreditation Agency (A3ES) and the Directorate-General for Higher Education (DGES): a) Plan the preparatory Academic Acts, each academic year, in conjunction with the Directors of Cycles of Study and Continuing Education Courses, FMUP Management Boards, and the UP Rectory, namely:i) School timetables and tuition fees; ii) Requests for vacancies and the operation of second and third study cycles; iii) Requests for vacancies and the running of continuing education courses; b) Coordinating, advising, and supporting the processes of Creation, Internal Accreditation, and Accreditation of Non-Degree Training at FMUP, in liaison with the Course Directors, FMUP Management Boards, and the UP Rectorate; c) Coordinate the administrative process of Self-evaluation, Evaluation and Accreditation of the Study Cycles in operation at FMUP, in conjunction with the Study Cycle Directors, FMUP Management Boards, the Rectorate, A3ES and DGES, namely: i) Structuring and providing administrative support for the Study Plan Amendment processes in conjunction with the UP Rectory, A3ES, and DGES; ii) Organize and provide procedural and administrative support for the A3ES Evaluation and Accreditation processes, namely information in the A3ES information system and monitoring visits by the A3ES External Evaluation Commissions; d) Advising and monitoring the quality management of FMUP's training offer in conjunction with the Management Boards, namely: i) Monitoring the A3ES Quality Assessment System report, ensuring the insertion of reference data for analyzing quality measurement indicators; ii) Monitoring the several Study Cycle reports, within the scope of the Internal Quality Assessment System, ensuring that reference data is included to analyze quality measurement indicators; iii) Drawing up pedagogical questionnaires for FMUP's non-degree courses;iv) Coordinating and monitoring the process of entering the necessary information from the academic area into the SIGARRA Information System, namely, curricular unit (UC) files, distribution of teaching service and UC contact hours, presentation of FMUP's training offer on the respective pages, in conjunction with the Academic Departments, Study Cycle and Course Directors, UC Regents and FMUP Management; v) Analyzing, collecting and organizing information on FMUP's training offer, for internal and external dissemination through the Communication Management Unit, for preparing the UP-Training Catalogue, Student Forum, Activities Report, and support for FMUP's Management Bodies.
