Objectives

Acquire knowledge related to the main environmental problems and its effects in health.

Understand the specifcity of the research methods in this area, mainly in respect to quantification of expositions and evaluation of risks.

Understand the natural, build, and psicosocial environemnt as critical determinants to health.

The student will: acquire the skills to identify the main environmental problems and differences between countries according to the level of development; Understand the association between the environment and health events; quantify exposure and assess risks to health

Teaching methods and learning activities

A total of 108 hours of student’s work, of which 36 are of contact, distributed as follows is estimated:
