The electrocardiogram (ECG) is one of the most widely used complementary diagnostic tests in clinical practice due to its clinical usefulness, ease of execution and low cost.

In the health professional field, in general (Hospital Medicine, General and Family Medicine, Nursing and in the practice of Cardiopneumologists and other Senior Technicians in the Diagnostic and Therapeutic Areas), this diagnostic aid has been presented as a fundamental, sometimes indispensable examination.
