The online course on introduction to simulation in healthcare is of great importance in the context of the modernization of clinical education. Clinical simulation has emerged as a crucial tool for developing skills in controlled and safe environments, allowing healthcare professionals to practice and refine skills without putting patients at risk. This course, in English, is aimed at anyone interested in the area of clinical simulation, including instructors, technicians and researchers.
E-learning format through the presentation of theoretical content and the completion of exercises remotely, through the Moodle platform. The topics discussed include: Introduction to Clinical Simulation, including nomenclature and best practices; Simulation Modalities; Design and Implementation of Clinical Scenarios; Introduction to Debriefing and Feedback. The content is presented by a group of trainers of different nationalities, contexts and experiences.
