Molecular Bioinformatics - A Hands-on Course Online

The increase in the databases diversity, the exponential growth in the data volume and the creation of new bioinformatics tools have been constant during the last two decades. Much of this data is stored and disseminated from public web-based platforms. Therefore, Bioinformatics is an area of knowledge in continuous development and updating.

This course combines the teaching of theoretical concepts and related bioinformatics tools, the practical demonstration of these tools and their application in solving the proposed scientific questions.

Operating regime: e-learning

Teaching language: in Portuguese and partially in English (if there non-speak Portuguese participants, the course will be taught in English).

Target people: researchers, teachers, technicians and pre- and postgraduate students in the areas of Health and Biological Sciences.
