Drug Repurposing for Oncology and COVID-19
Objectives
- Acquisition of theoretical skills and laboratory experimentation necessary for scientific research in oncological pharmacotherapy.
- Learning of theoretical-practical and practical skills to decide the best strategy for reusing drugs;
- Learning drug combination methodology;
- Studies of pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic and pharmacogenomic variability in oncology.
Professional Abilities
- Domain of the theoretical bases for understanding the concepts in the context of Oncological Pharmacotherapy;
- Execution of experimental technical work and interpretation of results in the areas of cell biology and therapeutic pharmacology;
- Application of the knowledge acquired in the conceptualization of a project to reuse drugs in oncology and COVID-19.

Languague: Portuguese and partially in English
Number of participants: 20 (max)/5 (min).
Target audience:
Researchers, university students at the end of their degree, graduates and graduate students (master's and doctoral students) in the areas of Health.
