Molecular Medicine and Oncology

InformationThe course/SC is accredited by the Agency for Assessment and Accreditation of Higher Education (A3ES).



With a significant laboratory component, this master's program seeks to consolidate knowledge in the biomedical field, awaken interest in furthering it, and encourage attitudes toward problem posing and problem solving, as well as the design of strategies and the application of Molecular Biology methods.
The course will cover the following subjects: "Molecular Biology", "Cell Cycle and Apoptosis", "Human Genetics and Disease", "Oncobiology", "Molecular Cytogenetics", "Angiogenesis in Inflammation and Cancer", "Pharmacogenomics and Molecular Epidemiology", "Heart Failure", "Epigenetics and Cancer", "Endocrine Pathology", "Gerontology", and "Molecular Biology Techniques".
The program is intended for undergraduate students in Life Sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Aquatic Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Basic Health Sciences, Medicine,Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, Microbiology, and Health Technologies, among others).
