Cardiovascular and Respiratory Sciences
The PhD Program in Cardiovascular and Respiratory Sciences at FMUP aims at the acquisition of competence, skills, and research methods associated with the area of Cardiovascular Sciences, an area of major importance in terms of prevalence, incidence, morbidity, and mortality.
With a total of 240 ECTS, the Program lasts 8 semesters. The target applicants are physicians, but also undergraduates or masters in Biological and Health Sciences or other areas.
The student must reveal the ability to conceive, design, adapt, and carry out original and significant research, contributing to the expansion of knowledge in this area.
