Subway

FMUP is served by Line D (Yellow) of the Porto Metro, through two nearby stations:

• Hospital São João – located next to the shared building with the hospital.
• IPO – located about five minutes walk from the Medical Research Center (CIM-FMUP).

FMUP is served by several lines of STCP buses.

Buses 204 | 300 | 301 | 305 | 505 | 506 | 604 | 705 | 804 have stops at the São João Hospital with connection to several points in the cities of Porto, Matosinhos and Valongo.

FMUP is also served by the apedeiro Hospital São João, of the Leixões Line of CP.

Located about a five-minute walk from the hospital-shared entrance, this apeadeiro allows direct connections to Porto-Campanhã and other stations in the urban line.
