Objectives

Provide students with strategic knowledge as well as tactical tools in the area of health communication. Demonstrate the weight and influence of public communication in public opinion through the analysis of national and international cases of health communication; Discuss the role of the media system in health communication; To promote interest in research in this area of knowledge and to enable researchers to develop a Health Communication Plan.

Learning outcomes and competences

Students and researchers should develop their critical knowledge of public communication as well as understand the functioning of the media system. They are expected to develop interest in this area of knowledge.

Eligibility for exams

Assistance to at least 75% of all classes and achievement of three critical reviews of works in the field of communication.

Calculation formula of final grade

The average of the classification obtained in the 3 book reviews will have an appreciation of 75% of the final grade. The remaining 25% will be obtained by attending classes.

Classification improvement

Writing an article in a model to be combined with the teacher.
