Ph.D in Forensic Sciences (2023), by the University of Murcia and University of Alcalá, Spain, in Psychology and Health. Master's degree in Forensic Sciences (2012), by University of Porto, Portugal, and Bachelor's degree in Psychology (2004) by Universidade Lusíada, has a Specialized training for trainers in Gender Equality (2017), a postgraduation in Legal Medicine (2007) and further training on child and adolescent at risk, parental skills, trauma and bereavement, human trafficking prevention, child interview, and trauma-informed care. 


Assistant professor at FMUP, University Institute of Health Sciences (IUCS), CESPU, CRL and invited professor at the Portuguese Catholic University's Law School.

Vowel of the board and founding member of SPECAN - Portuguese Society for the Study of Child Abuse and Neglect, of the Portuguese Forensic Sciences Association, and member of the Scientific Committee of the yearly International Conference on Childhood and Adolescence.

Researcher at Social Epidemiology Group of ITR Lab.

Facilitator of Parent Groups under the Incredible Years© Program.

Volunteer psychologist at SOMA Surf São Tomé Project (NGO)
