The Events, Communication and Image Office, run by a senior technician, depending on the Director, has the following goals: 

• to promote FLUP’s institutional image;
• to manage disclosure, advertising and marketing activities;
• to disclose FLUP’s graduate degrees in high schools, so as to attract potential new students;
• to ensure attendance and reception, especially the phone answering service;
• to collaborate in the organization of meetings, conferences, congresses and other similar events;
• to organize the cultural activities’ calendar to be held yearly at FLUP;
• to ensure the contacts between FLUP and the media and the Communication and Image Office of the University of Porto;
• to ensure all the protocol-related services where members of FLUP’s Management Bodies are involved;
• to promote the articulation with AEFLUP.

This office is also responsable for activities developed by Careers Advisory Office, namely:

· establish links between FLUP and companies/institutions, creating a dynamic network of contacts;

· manage the Faculty’s Job Offers website;

· provide personalised and customised support to students and graduates, with a view to assisting their entry into the labour market;

· assist students in managing their skills: assertive preparation of a CV, cover letters, portfolios, etc.;

· encourage coaching and personal development strategies, as well as networking, self-marketing and entrepreneurship;

· communicate regularly with the University of Porto’s Employment Observatory, so as to determine the career paths of the Faculty’s students and graduates.
