Identify Egyptian and Mesopotamian types of architecture: materials, techniques and forms. Recognize the contribution of architecture in understanding the Ancient Eastern societies.
Perceive painting, sculpture and relief as artistic languages, not only for their aesthetic importance, but also because they establish a relationship between Man and the visible and the invisible, history and fiction.
Comprehend the role of art (architecture, sculpture, painting and decorative arts) in terms of the ancient world’s cultural legacy and as a key to understanding the past.
