Objectives
The main aim of this subject is to provide Journalism and Communication Sciences undergraduates with a good grounding in microeconomics and macroeconomics.
Based on the fact that Economics is a way of thinking and not a set of facts to be memorized, this subject is designed to develop students' ability to think economically through the analysis of concepts which are considered to be the essence of the groundwork of Economics.

Eligibility for exams
Minimum class attendance (2/3 of the classes) is required for those who choose evaluation distributed throughout the semester.
Calculation formula of final grade
Assessment distributed throughout the semester (30%) and an exam (70%). Alternatively, a final exam (counting for 100% of the final mark).
