Objectives

Politics is one if the central factors of society. Political Science has asserted itself in the course of the 20th century as a major sociological subject. The central themes of this subject are: power, State, democracy, administration … words that are part of the daily lexicon of a journalist or a communicator.

Therefore, upon completing this subject, students should be acquainted with the basic political trerms in order to prepare information on this issue more successfully.

Teaching methods and learning activities

The methods and techniques to be followed in this subject will privilege the ones that are common to the social sciences, namely, the explanatory method will be chosen. Discourse technique will incorporate the use of projectable and non-projectable audiovisual aids, that is to say, the use of whiteboards, slide and overhead projectors, thematic maps, etc.
