At the end of the course the students are expected to acquire the following skills:
1. Basic advanced knowledge about the linguistic aspects of the Japanese language.
2. Practical capabilities in the areas of Japanese communication and listening.
3. Understanding about Japan and Japanese culture through learning and self-learning of Japanese language, especially in its communicative and writing functions of Japanese characters (Kanji).
4. Be able to explain situations and relation of actions, ask, require and understand other expressions, such as permission, prohibition, condition, ability or capacity.
The results are assessed through presentation and discussion of the work assignments, continuous learning of Japanese language, namely practice readings, Japanese texts and grammar exercises, listening to CDs in Japanese to practice pronunciation and perception of Japanese language. The aim is to assess whether or not students are developing verbal communication skills, oral and written skills in Japanese. Finally, conversation between students, their attendance, and tutorial classes allow an open and constructive evaluation of the student’s progress, thus allowing continuous improvement during lessons theoretical-practical and tutorial classes.
