Objectives

The final objective is to lead students to have the necessary knowledge of Chinese, to be able to communicate without great difficulties with the Chinese part, and in this way to be able to reinforce the eventual linguistic success in terms of oral and written communication.
The course is essentially aimed at all Portuguese-speaking natives who are interested in acquiring knowledge of Mandarin Chinese both orally and in writing.

Learning outcomes and competences

1. Ability to use appropriate expressions on formal and courteous social occasions such as receptions, presentation of greetings, introductions of a varied nature, apologies and also congratulatory.
2. Ability to use appropriate expressions in specific situations of shopping, travel, use and travel on public transport, phone calls and appointments, meetings, briefings, exhibitions... and so on.
3. Ability to use appropriate expressions during cultural or commercial activities, or, such as making a summary description of a tradition or any other cultural aspect, a company or a product, in obtaining or assigning a quota, a comment or even a statement.
4. Ability to use appropriate expressions in cultural forums, receptions, diplomatic events, consultations, business, price discussion, in the drafting or review of a plan, discussion of a path of cooperation, comments on a particular subject in conjunction with analysis and troubleshooting.

FIRST SUBTITLE
Continuation of the study of phonetics, writing and general structure of the Putonghua or official Mandarin. Advanced study of the structure of Chinese characters or synograms.

SECOND SUBTITLE
Continuation of the study of the second Mandarin manual: Great Wall Chinese.
