Objectives
A. This level is intended for students beginning their learning, having no knowledge of the Chinese language.
B. Teaching-learning at this level is oriented towards the acquisition of minimum communication skills, aiming at the acquisition of basic structures in the oral and written comprehension and expression domains.
C. It is also intended to complete language skills by introducing them to cultural habits.
Learning outcomes and competences
At the end of the class, the students will know both principal Chinese culture and approximately 150 Chinese characters. In addition, they will have knowledge of “everyday Chinese”.

II. INTENSIVE PHONETIC EXERCISES
