While in the theoretic-practical classes we try that the students acquire a theoretic-conceptual framework that will allow them the development in the areas of the knowledge of acquisitions and abilities of the themes studied, in this case the various steps of the History of the European construction, a centuries old aspiration, but that only was materialized in the second half of the 20th century, giving birth to today’s European Union. This Curricular Unit will complete other Curricular Units in the History first cycle degree and in the Languages and International Relations first cycle degree, as well as in other degrees of the Faculty of Arts of Porto University. In the tutorial classes we try that the students, in the classes, through book readings, texts commentaries, graphics and statistics will be able to acquire the abilities that a curricular unit of this type demands and allow them in the future to adapt themselves to new technics of methodology, research and investigation.
