Objectives

To develop the main skills you need for university study: research skills, critical thinking, computer skills and awareness of conventions and standards of scientific communication.

Learning outcomes and competences

At the end of the semester students should be able to:



  • develop strategies and methods of study appropriate to their academic study;



  • develop research strategies and to use their critical thinking in order to make the best use of the information available by electronic or other means, to find and to recognize information of quality;



  • make efficient use of information resources relevant to academic study in general and to the course of Applied Languages in particular;



  • present information and analysis of information in a clear and coherent form appropriate to the standards of scientific communication.

The final grade will be the average of the classifications of the three modules.

Students who want to improve the grade must take a test that coincides with the exam, in which they will be tested for the three modules taught.
